P.S. 40 Yearbook 2017 Yearbook Entry Description: We wanted to use a theme that could carry well throughout all sections of the Yearbook. We feel that we accomplished that goal quite well. We stuck with the same pallette throughout the entire book and kept similar design features throughout each section that provided cohesiveness, e.g. various luggage tags for page titles. We also felt strongly that there be some personal artwork by each of the graduating students included on their portrait pages. In keeping with the travel theme, each student created a stamp with a design of their own choosing, like a stamp in a passport. These stamps were then added to the airline ticket background and the personal statement was added in EDOnline. It was a true team effort!	Glenridge Elementary 2017 Yearbook Entry Description: One of the most used art supplies at this age level are watercolors. All of the kids are very familiar with them.	Edward H Bryan 2017 Yearbook Entry Description: Wanted the yearbook to express the spirit of the graduating class. Wanted go beyond the traditional look of an elementary yearbook.

Washington Elementary School 2017 Yearbook Entry Description: The theme throughout the year for 5th graders has been 50's. The yearbook title for promotion to 6th grade was Cruisin into Middle School. The 50's car theme was chosen to show elementary school in rearview mirror and look ahead to middle school image. Back image has a 1950s belair tail light with collage of images of 5th graders school pics.	Montessori Tides School 2017 Yearbook Entry Description: The nature-inspired cover represents growth and the qualities that we want to have in our school, such as fun, happiness and peace.	Polaris Expeditionary (K-5) Learning School Yearbook Entry Description: The design was inspired by the theme of Organic Art. Students decided that both art and the natural world are important values at our school.

Swan Valley Elementary School 2017 Yearbook Entry Description: Western themed	Manito Elementary School 2017 Yearbook Entry Description: This was our fifth grade them and we wanted to represent the student through the years. so we have baby pixs, and 3 pictures for the years at Manito. Each student chose their favorite color and it was used in the background box and name.	Northwood Owl Elementary -2017 Yearbook Entry Description: In our yearbook I wanted the graduating 5th graders to have a special section in the yearbook and I wanted a special way to introduce that section. I was really wanting to do a numerical and alphabetical template that allowed photos to be placed inside the template. I was trying to find a creative way to display collage photos without randomly just placing them on the page. Most of these photos are of the kids signing each other's 5th grade sweatshirts that our 4 elementary schools give the 5th graders. I wanted to display that special time in a creative and different way.

Gymnastics Level East 4 2017 Yearbook Entry Description: I was inspired by the girls who were looking up at the Paris Hotel in Las Vegas at one of their meets.	Grace Family Christian School 2017 Yearbook Entry Description: Class energy	Abintra Montessori School 2017 Yearbook Entry Description: This photo captures school spirit in a way that's a bit different than the traditional meaning of the phrase - it captures the spirit of discovery and engaged learning that is present in our classrooms. The vision of our school is that "Abintra develops confident, self-motivated learners who creatively meet the challenges of life." Each photo in the yearbook represents our atmosphere of connection, joy, and growth.
